1st Homerun ever in the major leagues?

I am currently into 3 months of a season and EVERY FIRST game I play from day to day this happens.

I play one of my teams and the 1st home run hit in the season game by me the announcer says "how about that, its his first major league home run"

When usually the player has single or double digits homeruns for the season. Anyone else has this happened to? if so, why does it do it?

    thanks for all help...just curious.

This has been a known bug for a few years I believe. To prevent the "1st Homerun Ever" message, I believe you need to play the first game on the calendar on Opening Day (Yankees vs Rays in 2017 I think). If my memory serves me right, I believe all you have to do is load the game, play the first inning and then back out. But, I can't necessarily confirm that, because I usually play all of the Opening Day games just to give my franchise the "Opening Day" broadcast feel where MLB Network/ESPN/etc broadcasts multiple games on Opening Day.

yea its a bug been in the game for a few years....all you have to do is play the first inning in one of the 3 games on first day, doesn't matter which one just one of those 3 games...after that first inning you can just sim the rest of the game...

The fact that it's STILL a bug is ridiculous. Bet it's in this year, too.
