roster makers. I need help!! I'm on MLB THE SHOW 16 for the PS3

For those of you who make rosters for MLBTS I have a question.

I'd like to update my rosters to be like real life rosters. My question is how do you go about moving players to another team?

for instance The Angels recently signed Chris Young from Boston Red Sox to a 1 year deal.

When i take control of the roster for the boston red sox and I click on Chris Young it shows move to A,AA,AAA or remove from 40 man roster. It doesnt show a way to release him and then let Angels pick him up. Can this be done?

I could use some advice on how you all do it. Please help if you can.

It depends on what your base roster is...

With OSFM, you have actual minor leaguers on the roster so you don't want to swap an Angel prospect to Boston but...

If you're using day one or an updated SCEA roster as the base then you can swap players fairly easily without major repercussions.

For the act of actually moving the players you'll want to go into 'ROSTER CONTROL' then go to the 'PLAYER MOVEMENT' screen and find the teams you wish to manipulate. Following your example, then you'll select Chris Young and find someone on the Angels roster to swap him with. All rosters must keep 90 total...no more/less so there isn't a feature to sign/release any players.
