PNC Park

I've been wondering if anyone can tell in streams if clemente wall at PNC [Pittsburgh] is an LED video board this year? I can't tell. I've been trying to watch close but it looks the same. Hopefully it is. They added it during spring training last year. [emoji16]

Looks to me like they added the LED scoreboard. The 21’s look updated too and the scoreboard now goes all the way across instead of separated in the middle. I’m pretty confident that it’s been added.
Also nice additions are the yellow banners in RF seats (were blue in last years game) and bleacher seats in LF.

I hope the fixed the on deck circles too. They were in the wrong spot on last years game and just painted on the grass.

Never realized I got an answer. Stellar eyes man. I looked at that same screen and couldn't tel until you pointed out the split! hopefully those on deck circles are fixed.

I wished they would put as much detail in the skyline of other stadiums as they do PNC Park. You definitely can see that they put more effort in certain stadiums

Agreed. Now that we're in year 2 of Suntrust Park, I hope the backdrop is a little more accurate.

PNC's whole park is focused at the skyline though. That's why its so open out there. They built it how they did for that reason. I expect SunTrust to be solid this year.

I think that they should maybe add a little more detail to the skyline of PNC, I work there and i can't even explain the beauty of it whenever the sun hits off the buildings and bounces off the river. I wish they could use those corporate logos on buildings but thats a little too much for them to handle

The sum hitting those buildings is mesmerizing. I won't even lie, I've spent whole at bats staring at the skyline. And I'm the kind of guy that watches pitch by pitch.

PNC Park and AT&T Field...arguably the two best backdrops in all of the Major Leagues.

Camden Yards is also up there with the warehouse beyond right field.

I dunno man, there's something about AT&T park on a mid-to-late afternoon with the sun behind homeplate but still bathing the outfield and the bay beyond it. Especially if you are high enough to see the view from the Bay Bridge all the way around to McCovey Cove. Completely captures that golden San Francisco glow.

I've been to a couple games at PNC but both were evening games, so the daylight was limited. Would love to one day catch an early afternoon start on a sunny day.

Oh geez figures Sony finally changes those RF signs from blue to yellow. Then Pirates change the signs back to blue (and green) lol

If you don't like the Pittsburgh weather, wait 20 minutes; it will change
