Cubs and Rangers
Padres and Twins: Petco Park and Target Field are nice stadiums and have young teams build on to.

I need help because for the past few seasons I have had total analysis paralysis when choosing a team for franchise. I end up getting thru a month or so and then get bored and pick another team and start it all over. I pretty much play every game, otherwise it just doesn't feel legit to me. In past iterations of The Show I've completed full seasons with the Red Sox, Braves, Pirates, A's among others but in the past 2 years I haven't even come close. My favorite team is Atlanta and they are a good choice for Franchise this year so my gut is to go with them. If I choose a second team I want a team that's more middle of the road, not a clear contender but also not a clear rebuild, a team who may end up having to choose at the deadline whether to add pieces for a playoff run or dump everyone and start it over. The Cardinals and Giants intrigue me in this category but I don't know exactly where they will be rated in '18. Any input is welcome.

I struggle with 1 and trying to get other games in lol

This year with OOTP 19 ..that and 1 for the Show will be plenty..

If only I could morph OOTP and The Show into 1 game ....

Well all the guys on Reddit/Facebook/Twitter are pretty convinced the Giants are basically the worst team of all time and can’t possibly improve by adding players over the ghastly age of 30. [emoji849] So by that casual logic, I would assume we’ll be a bottom 5 rated team in The Show. The same logic that will make the Yankees the #1 team even though the 102 win World Series champs got BETTER. But, HOMERUNS MAN!

Oh right. My suggestions would be Brewers/Twins/Orioles/Angels/Jays.

I plan to carryover my Tigers franchise (which is in mid 2019 now) and keep playing it until I win a world series with them, which could be a while. I do 30 team control, so after (or if) I win my championship, I will take over the worst team in the opposite league (currently the San Diego Padres in my universe) and try to build another championship team. Then repeat again. To my knowledge, I am the only one who plays this way. Or at least the only one who talks about it

Mariners for sure. Some exciting changes this year. I'm just starting year 2 on 17, by the time 18 comes out I might have another couple seasons down as I'm going through them pretty fast doing mostly quick manage

Still deciding between the Royals, White Sox, and Padres. All three teams have a lot of flexibility on the roster.

I'll probably go Rays again when the osfm rosters come out, but it's going to be tough going considering they just traded away something like 75% of the homers they hit last year. Might have to go full rebuild and trade away Archer and Kiermaier

I can't decide between carrying over my Twins or Cubs franchises or starting a new one.....Leaning towards carrying over one, if not both, while waiting for OSFM rosters to drop and starting a Red Sox.

I will carryover my phillies franchise and play that until OSFM rosters come out. Then I'll choose between the A's, Pirates and the Braves.

I never did this until carry over saves were introduced.

I only play every game/every pitch with my 2017 Yankees Chise.

I did that also in year one of the Matheny Manifesto and year one of the 1987 Chise.

Now I play one and quick manage 5 for all my franchise files except the Yankees 2017.

Once The Show drops.....I pretty much only play The Show thru August.

I play The Show so much.....it dominates my gaming life. 75% of my gaming throughout the year is playing baseball.

I know I am going to be tempted to start another new franchise on 18 and some teams I have been looking at are:

The Brewers
The Giants
The Astros

Maybe after the trade deadline I will start a new franchise for 18.....maybe not. But with carryover saves....for me it is unlimited.
