    Zone hitting is so frustrating

I just can't seem to figure out any way to consistently crush zone hitting

I'm VERY VERY good at pitching - to where I can play world class players and still only allow a few runs a game but hitting is so frustrating. I just can't seem to find any consistency with the zone hitting - I'll have a game where I get 5 runs and then get no hit the next game.

My biggest frustration with the game, as weird as it sounds, is the pitches that are in the middle of the plate and lower. I just can't read the height/angle of them to save my life. I actually often crush the pitches on the corners (especially if they are high and in or high and away) but then I'll terribly misjudge a fastball down the middle

My biggest frustration is that fastballs low, I can't judge them at all. A fastball that's an inch below the middle and inner part of the plate, I always end up thinking that it's a fastball in corner left and I pop it up because I'm way under the ball

I use strike zone camera angle. It's only one I sorta like. How do I become one of those guys on youtube who just perfectly times up everything thrown at him?

I find the default Strike Zone camera to be a bit too high. I highly recommend moving the camera a bit lower to the ground. For me, it's much easier to read pitches that way imo. Also for something different, try zooming out a bit and see if that helps as well. Sometimes if you're too close, it can trick your mind into thinking that you have less time to react/move the PCI, so maybe that might help too.

can you use custom cameras in online ranked games?

you may have a good point, I do a lot better with pitches in upper half of zone than lower half of the zone but the real problem is stuff in middle, stuff lower and inside. I just can't get a good feel of the height of the ball.

I have a bad habit of the pitch coming in and I'm kinda guessing where it's going to be. I need to read it all the way and locate the pitch instead of guessing so quickly. How do I break this habit? Do I just need to focus on tracking the trajectory of the ball and slow it down in my vision so I can properly locate the placement?

What's weird is I'm a lot better with lefties. I feel like I can track the ball quite good from a lefties hand - especially those who throw from 3/4 delivery. What could cause this?

Would you want to? If you could consistently crush, then what's a good game gonna contrast with?
Do it. (Release The Show for PC)

I suspect that since the OP mentioned the top youtubers, they might be wanting to optimize their head-to-head internet play (like ranked season and such). In which case realism kinda takes a back seat to performance.
