What about a rating for consistency/streaky?

I don't know if this is too complicated, and I know it's too late for any changes for '18 anyway, but I was just thinking this one over and thought I'd throw the idea out there. I know there are mixed feelings on the 'clutch' rating, so what if we throw that out the window and replace it with something to suggest consistency or streakiness? Some examples...Bryce Harper may have all the skills in the world, but he goes from .300+ with monster HRs to a full season at .240 or whatever, and then back to superstar stats. Mark Trumbo does nothing with the mariners, then goes off for nearly 50 hr with his new team, then cools off to somewhere in the middle. But then there are guys like Gwynn or Boggs who you KNEW you were getting .325+ out of, or Bonds who never seemed to have an off year...should there be a rating to make these players react accordingly in the show?

    I’m
Not sure it’s possibke because to much of the other ratings would overwrite it, it’s a bit complex

    What we do
Need is a injury rating and fatigue rating that are both seperate, I’m tired of seeing a injury prone player tired after 3 days because his endurance rating is low because of injury history.

I'd say the best way to do this would be to make an additional quirk or two.

      Streaky or Consistent

And I still think that we should be able to edit quirks.

Would be nice to edit ALL quirks. Most quirks we do have control over.

As I was laying down to fall asleep last night I thought about this and quirks...I think you're right, would make a great quirk. Basically I'd say it should go like this...someone with the "streaky" quirk would get the hot or cold symbol quickly...and their attributes may even see a more exaggerated boost or penalty than someone without it. Plus, it would take longer for them to get back out of the slump or streak. With a player like that it would be more likely to see someone who gets stats that are much better or worse than you'd expect based on their ratings.

On the flip side, a player with a "consistent" quirk may be more resistant to going hot or cold, and not stay on the streak as long. So the likelihood of them performing accurately is greater.

One tough thing might be figuring out who gets the quirks, aside from the obvious outliers

Something, ANYTHING to allow for more detail when it comes to how players play, and perform.
