Maybe. The fact that right now, you switch with the teams in your division each year means there is an option of just switching with a different division team to make it happen. Coding that to make it work, however is a different story.

I would of been okay with just random inter league games but I guess they want to just do it the right way if they attempted to get it in.

Perhaps the early start in the 2016 CBA is the culprit here. There won't be a full set of 186-day schedules until 2020.

Don't have the game but I'm guessing interleague rotating schedules are not in the '19 version of the game?
