I seriously doubt anyone has the game yet.

I'd suspect early copies to start popping up the week of March 18.

I'm not even sure the game has gone gold yet.

A lot of the streams are by SCEA themselves, Gamespot, IGN, and other sites that re-airing the SDS livestreams on their respective sites and providing their feedback/opinion/thoughts on the content of the streams.

No way. Players who get their copies early at some mom and pop store usually get it 3-6 days early, not two weeks early.


With the major game stores taking part in the head start weekend early copies may only show up in independent stores a day or two before that.

The Show is definitely a game that they keep working on until basically the last possible minute. No way anyone has it yet.

My guess is that it goes Gold this week, if it already hasn't and copies start showing up late next week since retailers have to have copies by the 23rd.

I thought last year they gave out the game early to the people who broadcast on youtube and twitch.

I think the reason you will get the game early if you pre-order is because in the past the game's street date has been broken so often. So they are allowing you to pre-order it from Gamestop (or PSN) and get the game on Friday as opposed to Tuesday....but it needs to be in hand by about Weds or Thurs to support a Tuesday release date (the real street date).

Around (again probably Weds or Thurs) Friday March 24th is probably the day that most merchants (big or small) will have access to the game anyway. So by allowing GameStop (and PSN) to release the game on that Friday, they are essentially cancelling out the need for us to go hunt down a mom and pop to sell us the game early.

I say all that to say....no the game probably is not out in the wild right now.
Pre-order it and you will have it "early".
