The other thing I can think of is that RttS can be transferred from year to year, just like Franchises...that is huge. I think the biggest knock on DD is that it's a one year at a time thing...you can't bring your 17 DD team over to 18.Orbis Non SuficitComment

Micro transactions are a factor in which modes the developers spend the most time on. Franchise isn't selling card packs or stubs.
They only thing I like about DD is the ability to create you own team/logo/uniforms and I'd like to see that added to franchise. I suspect the fact a few DD users might become franchise users and stop buying card packs etc is a factor in why franchise doesn't get some of these things.≡Comment

Is that micro league baseball? Wife and I were organizing the garage last year and I came across a copy of that. We would have done back flips back then for a game this good. To a great extent the complaints - and I'm guilty of it - are because we have become spoiled.≡Comment

I think it is World’s Greatest Baseball game, which I played a ton on my C64. And that was long after playing Intellivision Baseball.
My favorite C64 baseball game was the original Hardball.
Yeah, we’ve come a long ways.
