How long will it take for 18 to install from disc?

I remember MLB the Show is always one of the longest installs on PS4. It's not just installing the disc but also the update file. Anyone know how long it will approx. take this year?

Took about 40 minutes for me, that's including the time to get update 1.02, and then 1.03.

Probably dependent on your data speeds too though.

Physical copy should take 3 hours!

I am only saying this because you game stop guys can pick it up at 9pm today and I have to wait til midnight for the unlock.

I need to know so I can plan my night around it. If it takes 2 hrs then I can plan my Friday night with the kids better. Just let it install and come back 2 hour’s later.

This goes for all games but i wish we could preload even if we were getting a hard copy. That way when we got home the game would be i stalled amd updated and the disk would be the unlock code. It would ne a huge benefit to everyone with a slow internet connection.

Version 1.03 is 1.238 GB.

For me it took about an hour to download.
