For those of us who play the spring training schedule it's a real killer only having two different ballparks to choose from.

I very much doubt that if it's to prevent lag. The off the bat pause that you can disable is for fielding in RTTS I think

You cant disable it even for Offline. Like an offline Franchise game?

it shouldn't be in offline, it's an online thing to help with lag I believe

                okay thanks for answering.

Also, I keep raising this point. Howcome during the pause menu, It doesn't show the pitchers pitch Speeds. Is there another way to see this?

Ball/Strike/Total is there, but how do we know what the pitch speeds are. it was in every other game In previous years

There are more than 2 stadiums to choose from. Besides the 2 ST stadiums you have 23 minors stadiums you can play in. Heck, Red Rocks Stadium looks like it’s come straight out of the Cactus League.

I don't know why can't i get excited about this game. Also why do people always pre-order games I just think it stupid because you know the development team hasn't fixed all the issues and there will be bugs etc. I never buy first day releases.

And you can't pick stadiums in RTTS. I would be fine with them reclassifying some of them as ST but it is stupid as it is now. It's also annoying doing the pre draft stuff in the same stadium every damn time.

Only reason I ever pre-order is to save money through Amazon Prime.

Can't do that with MLB 18. Only reason I pre-ordered MLB 18 is because I wanted the new franchise screens (I legit can't stand the dark and drab feel of 17 any more, it's just depressing to look at).

Yes, it is. It's to make sure that the batter can hit without having to swing extremely early (and therefore not be able to read the pitch and have to anticipate/guess).

I get that it's immersion-breaking, but it's for the sake of gameplay (which is always king in online play) and I think the online experience overall is better for it.

I muted and looked away. I want to see it fresh for myself on my sound system at home tomorrow!
