In Franchise mode. In manage roster section sort option does not sort on multiple categories.

After my first game the catcher's glove suggesting location in the api has disappeared. It still suggests a pitch type just no location. First happened in rtts and now in play now, haven't tried any other modes yet. Using analog pitching. Switched to meter and it still didn't show up.

            Are you using Dynamic difficulty?

Once you hit that "All Star" level, the API turns off. You can still press R2 to see the suggestion, though.

If you want to change that, go to Options -> Pitching and press R2 to see the Advanced options. API is probably set to Default. Change it to On. Now no matter your difficulty, you will always have the suggestions.

The alternative to that is play on a difficulty level that is below All Star.

Same with Robbie Ray, Plesac mentions a changeup he doesn't have in game (and stopped throwing last year).

There are lots of examples of repertoires that are way off, though. Kyle Hendricks doesn't throw 92.

I saw that the first game I played, for my team and the CPU's team alike. I don't believe I have seen it since.

I have some very error happy scorers. Anything not played 100% is given as an error even in situations where it can't be. I had a single up the middle that the center fielder ran over, no bases were taken as a result, but the scorer gave it as not a hit but an error. Same for a double play ball that the fielder botched so could only get the out at first. Should never be an error as you can't assume the double play, but because it had the misplay the game seems to think it's an error.

Maybe not a bug but I really don't need to hear that Ian Happ is a Pittsburgh-area native every time he's up to bat.

Re: MLB The Show 18: Bugs, Corrections

                        RTTS Issues:

                        1. In every RTTS save I played, the coach always wanted me to change positions and gave me the schpeel about how it will help me get to The Show faster. The problem is that depending on the position, it almost forces you to change your archetype or he says "it may impact your development".

I don't want to change my archetype. I picked it for a reason. This happened EVERY SAVE i played, except for being a Starting Pitcher.

                        2. Under no circumstances should a player be called up for AA straight to MLB. This happened to me with the Orioles when I was a 62 OVR for 3rd baseman. There weren't injuries to anyone in MLB (Machado or the other 3B) and even if there were, I'm sure there were Free Agents in the low 70's that could be signed instead of calling me up from AA.

This would definitely impact my development. Needless to say in the first 5 games I went 1 for 20. Pitchers were eating me alive. When I was in AA I had a .383 average, 10 HR's, about 45 RBI's, an ISO of .200 and a POP of 1.183 after over 300 plate appearances. I also had a .983 fielding %.

                        3. MLB The Show has been plagued by only evaluating players by their OVR instead of stats and how well they do behind the plate AND in the field. That has literally ruined immersion and it needs to be addressed...badly.

                        4. This ties into #3. It took forever for them to call me up and they SHOULD have called me up to AAA instead of MLB. The 3B player was 63 OVR and while I was 62, I'm pretty sure that I was doing incredibly enough to be called up in place of him.

                        Which ties into #5....

                        5. There is no stat tracking for Minors so I can't tell what the 3B in AAA (my competition) was playing. He could have been batting like garbage and had bad fielding as well.

THIS...THIS IS WHY we need stat tracking in this game for the minors. Come on. This is really immersion breaking.

Anyway, hope these things get addressed.

I had a couple weird ones as well:

                          1) Pitch to my catcher that he didn't handle well (it was in the air, not on a bounce). The runner didn't advance, but my catcher received an E2. Even if the runner did advance, this wouldn't be an error, but rather a passed ball. He didn't advance anyway.

                          2) I was goofing around on a hot shot to my first baseman, seeing if I could leap in the air and still get the runner in time. Turns out I could not. I got an E3. To me, that's a "mental error," which is not a scorebook error.

                          3) I'm batting with a runner on second base and no outs. I hit a routine grounder to shortstop, and I try to advance with my runner on second. I realize I can't make it, and get in a rundown. I use my stick skillz to stay in the rundown long enough to advance my batter-runner to second base while my other guy finally is tagged out in the rundown. My guy is credited with a single instead of a fielder's choice. Good thing he wasn't given a double.

                          4) Like the one above, with a runner on first I hit a single to left-center field, and attempted to advance both of my men (feeling out that they would try to throw my runner out at third instead of second). I rounded first well before the outfielder gathered and threw the ball. I made it to both bases, and personally feel my player deserves a double since I didn't advance as a response to the outfielder's decision (I opted to do so before that).

#4 may seem a bit hard to figure out, but I thought I'd report them anyway.

Forgive me if it’s already been mentioned, but I’m getting a weird green screen during game on what I’m assuming is suppose to be a splash screen or presentation cue. I’m 9 games into my tenth season (2023) and thus far it’s only happened at the mets (both in Shea and Citi field). It did not happen in my first 6 games at wrigley. When I switch it from hybrid to fast play the green screen no longer appeared as there wasn’t the presentation screens.

Anyone else notice Matt V and the stadium announcer mispronounce Cody Bellinger’s name? They both pronounce it Bell-Ann-Ger. He is one of the players pictured in the load screen so you think they would get his name right.

This has happened to me a few times as well. For some reason it happened twice while I was playing at Arizona during the scenic cactus cut scene.
