“Woosh” sound when throwing a fastball

Any way to turn off the “woosh” sound effect when throwing a fastball. It’s pretty annoying. Or am I he only one hearing it?

Its always been in the game, You talking about the sound when you through a heater- 95 mph +?

Is this something new this year? I played two games last night and didn't notice it. Unless you mean the sound that plays when the MPH is shown in the scorebug after a 95+ MPH pitch is thrown.

I think it goes with the graphic with the flames... the sound of "fire" meaning your pitcher lit up the radar gun with the ol' fireball.

I wrote it off as a graphical/audio presentation ala the network presentation.

I think it only occurs in that situation.

If it helps, it is tied to the sound effects audio slider. I tend to find all sound effects too loud on default anyway (or even with the TV Broadcast preset), so I lower that several notches. Now it doesn't sound as obtrusive.

By the way, is this only for the MLB Network presentation package, or is it also for the other two themes as well? And does MLB Network due that in real life (with the sound effect, that is)?

Yea it's pretty annoying. Would love to be able to just disable it.
