Doesn’t matter if you have a $10,000 TV, sharper is going to be as efficient as the machine it’s running on.

The “lag” everyone mentions on sharper is because on balanced or faster, it’s butter. So when you drop to 30 FPS, it looks awful. So it might not “lag” (which it clearly drops frames as well but not gonna debate the obvious) but it sure as hell isnt pretty enough to justify the frame rate.

If HDR is enabled on your tv, then in your system settings make sure the video output is 2160p RGB and everything else set to auto and you should be good.

I have an odd situation...when have 65 inch KS8000, PS4 Pro, and an Enclave wireless audio system. When I select HDR, I lose sound. If HDR is off, no issues. Turn HDR on and no sound.

Enclave support told me that PS4 audio should be set to DTS. It is but when game switches into HDR mode...nothing. I am sure it is related to the audio system...like it is losing the handshake or something when switching...even if I cycle through the tv options again I still get no sound. Very odd...

You have to turn HDR on on each port on Samsung TVs.

Is anyone using an LG OLED tv? I have the C7 and unfortunately there is too much input lag for my liking to have it on Standard HDR. What are some tweaks to the settings people have used to get the best out of the picture quality on Game HDR? That or maybe someone else can convince me to put it on standard and that I will be able to get used to the big difference in input lag hahaha.

Are you fully updated with your firmware? Input lag in game mode is currently at 21ms (whether that is good to you or not).

Yea I have the current firmware. What I am saying is I have to use game mode in HDR because there is a huge difference in input lag between Standard and Game mode. There is also a huge difference in picture quality between game mode and standard that I did not have with my previous tv. That's why I was wondering what picture settings others may be using just so I can compare mine to get the best out of the Game mode setting.

For HDR gaming, simply turn on 'HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Color' for the HDMI port where you intend to connect your video game console or PC and select the 'Game' 'HDR Picture Mode' to have the best input lag possible.

Just had my 2018 TCL 55" 6 series delivered yesterday.... well both for my wife and i. so sometime today we will be unboxing and mounting them both to our tv stands. cant wait to see what this game looks like in 4k. even got 2.0 UHD HDMI cables to make sure to take advantage of signal.

Doesn’t the Pro already come with the correct HDMI cable?
