Question for "joystick" users from a manage mode user

Is there a pitch which is most effective against a power swing?

The reason I ask is because I believe the AI in manage mode when trailing in the 9th inning uses the power swing. I wonder if it would be better to avoid a 4 seam fastball closer in that situation and go to a guy whose primary pitch is sinker, slider, knuckle curve or something else.

I figure you guys who actually joystick the game would have a better idea than I.
