It was mentioned in one of the streams for 17, it was removed to streamline the post game experience. Just think of all the extra time you have now that you don't have to watch it every game.

I could think of a long list of presentation scenes that i wish they would remove, RP dropping his glove, close up of manager during HR but they had to remove the only interesting post game presentation they have.
I would be fine with the decision if they added a highlight/replay system like what fifa has that shows replays of goals with commentary. Would love to see a replay of a HR with a "exited" matty v calling it instead of the obnoxious loud music they use atm.

I could care less about this presentation but indeed no reason to cut it when it’s sitting there just fine.

Another thing i am really disapointed was removed in 18 was the league updates tab in franchise. It was the main screen to be able to get a quick rundown on what is happening around the league, it also showed player milestones and hot and cold players, even though the H&C players part was kind of pointless. I kept hoping it would be updated not removed.
looks like i will have to trawl through the box scores in the calendar screen now.

I've seen the player of the game cutscene twice and haven't had a walk-off win or loss yet. So it's random and does not only happen on walk-offs.

I just don't like the logic..You'll have a walk off homerun and the player of the game is your starting pitcher who only lasted 5 innings, but pitched well enough..

If you use fast play you will get the card overlay and the little highlight reel.

Yeah it's not just walk-offs. I saw it after my very first game. Game was tied 3-3 or something and I hit a go-ahead solo homer with Camargo in the bottom of the 8th, not 9th. I closed the game out and it triggered the POTG cutscene. Swanson got interviewed and it showed his stats (4/5 game). There have probably been times since then where it was going to play but I just skipped it. I only really need to see something like that once.

I haven't seen it once in exhibition or spring training games. Have prob played close to 10 games. Really hoping i see it once i start my franchise.
