Carryover saves from 2017

Carried over my saves for Franchise and RTTS for 2018 as soon as I received the game. I noticed that my sponsorships and equipment for my RTTS player are still there. However, I do not see the actual card on the selection screen. If I choose a lesser sponsorship or equipment card, the one I transfered over disappears. Is this normal? Shouldn’t I unlock the card in 2018 if it’s carrying over from 2017?

Sponsorships (and equipment) are reset with the new version. The old ones will display until they are replaced with a new sponsorship. I think they are just graphical at this point.

Pretty much everything gets reset when transferring over a Chise’ from the year before. Sucks; apparel, batting stances and pitcher motions all default to SDS defaults. I will stick with 17 until I finish my season I suppose then roll with OSFM with correct apparel or Hybrid with correct apparel. A bit frustrating as I was hoping to continue my Chise in 18 with the new upgrades.

I'm sorry that I don't have an answer to your question. But I am curious -- did your franchise jump ahead a calendar year upon importing? Mine did, and it's pretty much ruined the franchise. I'm hoping it's a bug and not something specific to my franchise.

What part of the season were you in on MLB 17? Offseason?

My franchise was in June 2018. Once imported, I am in June 2019. It's probably worth mentioning that this franchise was created in MLB 16 and carried over to MLB 17 and now to MLB 18. I've played every game (spring training included) since the start of the 2016 season, so I'd hate to lose it.

My franchise was in June 2018. Once imported, I am in June 2019. It's probably worth mentioning that this franchise was created in MLB 16 and carried over to MLB 17 and now to MLB 18. I've played every game (spring training included) since the start of the 2016 season, so I'd hate to lose it.

I went from '16 to '17 to '18 and my year is correct.

The only issue I'm having schedule wise is that series are starting on the wrong day. In my franchise Tuesday is actually Sunday..
