    Great game but some flaws

Ok guys the game is amazing but here is what i seen n i hope they fix it. When sliding into home our players never touch the plate. There bodies hit the dirt n ground but the hand slides over ir. Very minor detail but kills me.

My 2 big issues. This i saw last yr n i see this yr. If ur pitching n the cpu hits rhe ball fast n hard to 3rd. N i mean hits it where the 3rd baseman goes to his right which is next to ss. If u try to go for it ad the 3b baseman n miss for some reason it then switches u to the OF n pulls u to the right like the 3b . Then ur OF is out of position.

Other thing is im not seeing a smart cpu pitcher. 5 x i seen a ball i hit towards the pitcher n he either misses it n doesnt know how to charge ball n pick it up.
Has anyone else had these issues or know what im talking about.. other then that game is damn good n its graphics r so sharp im not sure what setting to use on my tv bc its so damn good looking. Vivid is way to bright n game is decent. What do u guys plan on

I too play only the CPU, and haven't had that many issues with game play....yet. I did notice the sliding into home thing you mentioned. I have noticed a few of the same problems as last year. Bats/batting gloves changing color in different at bats, pickoffs not showing up in game logs, obvious errors counted as base hits. The one major gameplay thing I've noticed is the pitching, even with sliders all the way up, is very slow and runners are very fast.

As for pitching here is how i play. I bat eith dynamic on so it will update n change.n for the pitchin2i pit the difficulty on hall of fame. It is faster on thst level. Its a challenge but its not too bad. Gor example 1 game i used cole hsmmel n had 7ks n 2 walks. With jake from phi i had 6ks n 5 walks. I play on s 70 n everything looks great.

I have senative eyes but cant figure out what setting to use. If i use vivid it is bright n colorful but hurts my eyes. Game mode not too bad but kinda bright n calibrated dark is nice but its like colors are faded n not bright. So what does everyone use...

I also use throwing for players on hall of fame. This should help.

1 more thing. It amazing to me how people online habe no idea that using the d pad is to use bullpen, sub players. Everyone hits start. R u a rookie my gosh... and people dont throw strikes. I try to always pitch in the square. They throw in dirt but im only play cpu but wanted to try online..

Well, remember, the ground isn't real. I'm sure it has to do with collision detection. How close can they take the hand to the plate, or bag, without it bleeding thru.

So much to enjoy without something like this killing you.

Honestly RTTS is a giant mess right now from the SP side of the game. With only the primary pitch gaining points when you do not use it in an at bat to seemingly not being able to train new pitches. This reeks of rushed development and honestly makes me regret buying the game because they cannot do proper QA.

yeah, it's a shame that games nowadays (especially sports games), are under a strict schedule and have to rush out games 3/4 cooked and then spend the rest of the season patching and re-patching, breaking, then patching again. Yet, most gamers have become conditioned to this routine and keep buying.

The biggest issue is they do not do proper QA and bug fixing. If you have a short development time they need to be more realistic in what they can handle. But this is an industry wide issue. I have done alpha and beta tests on the mod scene and from talking with people who test for gaming companies we were far more rigorous and through than they are. Its get the game so it has no game breaking flaws and ship it and hope people can glance past the major issues. For rebuild like RTTS and the like they really need a dev team working not for 2019 but 2020 plans. The game companies are penny pinching these days like mad and its showing in their work with the ship and patch style of games these days. I miss the 90's and early 2000's when games shipped in a close to finished state because patching was very expensive and many people still did not have high speed Internet. So if it was bugged it was bugged for good.
