I've been on all star+ for a while now but feel curious about HOF. If I turn off dynamic difficulty and just choose straight up HOF does the dynamic difficulty revert to its default if I went back or would I be at all star + where I left off? Hope my question makes sense.

Re: Why should I use dynamic difficulty?
Yes it will tick down but then it will go back up when you face not so good pitching. I like that though because it separates the success you'll have between the good pitchers and the bad ones.Comment

Re: Why should I use dynamic difficulty?
I like dynamic difficulty as it simulates struggles as a team sometimes. Some guys I just cannot hit for the life of me, and you see that in real life sometimes. A team runs into a hot pitcher, or one that has their number on that day, but then the next day they go on to score 10 runs.
I do need to turn the indicator off though, I feel like me knowing the hitting difficulty is now in HOF jinxes me and then I lose my focus and can't hit a thing.Comment

Re: Why should I use dynamic difficulty?
I have mine set to notify me before each game ( it's called Game Start I think) and I only get notified of my difficulty before each game. I too hate knowing the level every other at bat.I like dynamic difficulty as it simulates struggles as a team sometimes. Re: Why should I use dynamic difficulty?
You can tell it where to begin in your user setup. I began mine at All-Star and now am at HOF hitting and tail end HOF on pitching. Set the slider to 0 and am holding there.Comment

Re: Why should I use dynamic difficulty?
I started using dynamic difficulty when they 1st added it, and I love it. I just don't have the reaction time and reflexes like I did many yrs ago, which makes hitting difficult for me.
I was skeptical of it when it 1st came out, as I was afraid it wouldn't be balanced enough, to where it would be way to easy, but that's not the case, for me anyway, that may not be the case for everyone though.
For those who are younger and have good reaction time and quick reflexes its probably not for you, as it would be way to easy, but for us elderly its been a great addition, LOL.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11

Re: Why should I use dynamic difficulty?
While you're playing the game, the bar will show up on the screen pretty frequently, telling you what level you're on for both batting and pitching, and will make a chime when you move up to the next one.Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.Comment

Thanks. I don't believe I have this setting activated. Where can I check this?Comment

Re: Why should I use dynamic difficulty?
I like to play on Veteran+, so I get it to that point, and then turn the slider all the way down to zero once I'm there.Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.Comment

Re: Why should I use dynamic difficulty?
You can change the difficulty in really any part of the game that you're in. From easy on up, and dynamic is in there with the rest. You can also change how frequently the difficulty goes up or down within the sliders.
