Makes me wonder if the marketplace issues are because the game said it’ll be undergoing maintenance this afternoon. There was a notification for that.

Actually, the marketplace issues are the main reason why the maintenance is going on. I don't know if you'd heard or not, but people have been losing stubs and cards left and right on transactions that may or may not have gone through, plus people paying for stubs, getting charged for them, but the stubs not being added to the account. Long story short, the market was broken, and they are in the process of fixing it.

I don't know if you'd heard or not, but people have been losing stubs and cards left and right on transactions that may or may not have gone through, plus people paying for stubs, getting charged for them, but the stubs not being added to the account. Long story short, the market was broken, and they are in the process of fixing it.

There is still notice up that maintenance is still happening. My guess is to stay away from the market until that notice goes away on show nation. Everyone make sure to lose at least 1 stub to make sure you get a free pack next week when they apologize.

Also - as of 1 minute ago, people are posting that they are seeing changes occurring from what they did this morning such as doing a buy this morning and now the orders are showing up.

Agreed.

The only gameplay issue I have is that pitches seem to "float". I've cured that by upping the pitch speed sliders for both fastball and offspeed pitches.

They fix that and I'll just lower the sliders back to default.

Other than that, the game has played beautifully.

I noticed that instantly, even with sliders all the up , still seem to "float"

Patch Notes:

We tried to fix stuff and ended up breaking other stuff. We'll release a new patch soon to fix what was broke and break something else. [emoji23]

Pitch speed has definitely been reduced. I've maxed out to 10 and it still is far too easy.

glad to see I''m not being paranoid. That's the first thing I noticed when starting my first game.

They have been doing this every year for a long, long time. Pretty soon Showtime will be the default on every pitch.

For consoles, the PS2 generation (there might have been a few small exceptions that could fit on a memory card).

The catch to that is that if those games had bugs (and btw, they did), you were stuck with the game as is.

My feelings are that we have become beta testers for games that not only do we pay full price but now company's are putting these so called incentives to be able to play the game 3 or 4 days early. I see the scheme now, they removing key modes. It's crazy in the gaming industry.

The game is not even out officially and we already 2 patches in. You think it's a mess now, wait to official release.

I've been getting the server error sporadically over last couple days. Not a huge amount....but a few times I've had to keep trying to go into the market or into game mode before it would finally let me in. Just wait till the rest of the world comes charging in ......
