It happens when the manager suggests you pinch run and you accept that suggestion.

I dunno if it's all the time but the only time it has happened is when I've tried to do it after the manager suggested it and I went straight from the suggestion to the substitution screen. It's been there for a while, at least a couple of games.

Just like how the "Average vs. LH/RH" is reversed on a relief pitcher's "card" (for lack of a better word) when they enter the game. Just a glitch that didn't get fixed.

This happened to me last night, tried to pinch run for Robinson Chirinos late in a game and it wouldn't. It allowed me to make the selection but nothing would happen. First time I've had an issue.

I was the halos today against the Rangers. Was down 6-5 in the eighth. Had bases loaded. Martin Maldonado on third. He's very slow so I tried to pinch run. Went to substitution screen. Highlighted Maldonado. Choose to pinch run with Kaleb Cowart. It asked me if I was sure. I clicked yes. Goes back to game. Maldonado still on third. Tried it three more times. Nothing. Even tried pinch running with backup catcher. No dice. Now we can't pinch run???

I've had this glitch happen before in this game and prior games, it usually happens if there is an injury during the game.

HAd it happen too with an in game injury.

Just had it happen to me, also had an injury earlier in the game

Every time that glitch has happened to me recently, I've had an injury earlier in the game. Never thought about it until now.

Happened to me today. Injury in the first so I had to replace him. Ninth inn the guy I replaced the injured player with on second with a leadoff double. Tie game btw.. try to pinch run for him and wouldn’t let me

Not sure if this has always been the case, but using the left stick won’t work to choose player. You have to use the D-pad
