Errors Issue

I noticed quite a few times where there would be a sharp single to an outfielder. The ball would bounce in front of him and then skip by the fielder letting the runner advance. It should be scored has a single and an error but the official score is an error and no hit.

Another time I had runners on first and second with one out and the 2B bobbled the grounder. He recovered and threw it to first for the out. But the bobble prevented them from getting a double play. They charged the 2B with an error.

Well, that's disappointing. We used to have a lot of box scoring issues in older versions of EA Sports' title but I personally have not experienced them with The Show to date. Hope they can fix this.

Got both of those issues last night too. Those were scored correctly in 2017...

I never had issues with the scorig in previous versions of The Show. I've had scoring decisions I disagreed with but in all cases, they were plays that were debatable. That happens IRL, so I can accept that. I used to have major rage inducing moments in EA's baseball games. I recall in their '04 installment, if there was an error at any point in a play, the whole at bat got written off to the error. You could hit a gapper that rolled to the wall, you try to leg out a triple and the cutoff man over throws 3B, the entire at bat would be scored as an error. No extra base hit. That's infuriating.

I just had a slow roller to my 2B, I charged and tried to get the force at second and the runner beat it out. Gave me an error.

Also if balls hit off the wall aren't played at a played at a perfect angle (great new addition) the game gives the outfielder an error. Hit 3 balls off the wall that bounced down and over the outfielders head to where the centerfielder backing up would play it and all 3 times the left fielder got charged with an error.

Certainly seen the second issue. So far after a few games I haven`t seen the first, but I am sure it`s just a matter of time.

another issue is giving errors that "assume the double play." For example I got an E4 when my 2b knocked a ball down, decided it was too late to go for 2 and got the out at first. That is not an error.

I have been streaming some games testing sliders for my franchise and errors work better than last year, but I have seen several situations where a fielder bobbles a ball doesn't make the play at first the runner beats it out and no error recorded.

Then another situation apparently the RF on the TWINS cant field very well I think it was Kepler but can't remember. He would try to catch the ball and it would hit the glove or he missed played it and rolled all the way to the wall in yesterdays game and no error was given. This happen twice with him during that game in RF.
