    QUIRKS No Longer Dynamic?

In franchise last year, Quirks were dynamic, you could lose or gain a quirk based on performance. However, it was bugged, because non pitchers would receive pitching quirks like "control artist". Now I have simulated, many franchise games over the past 4 days deep into the season, and none of the players gained or lost a quirk. In particular, I monitored Matt Kemp, who has no quirks, but I he was leading the league in HR's with 31 in mid-July and he still had no quirks.

Huh, I didn't think quirks were dynamic last year. Are you sure they were?

Yes, some of them were dynamic as your attributes go up and down. That was one of the points made in the stream last year. Not all Quirks are dynamic just some, I forget which ones. They had a bad bug with it last year with everyday players acquiring "control artist" which is a pitchers Quirk.

Yeah some are tied to attributes which really don't do anything. So Matt Kemp hitting 31hr's like OP said shouldn't warrant a perk, unless his power attributes went up.

But there is this quirk for contact called "hitting machine".

Which is tied to the contact rating, not directly to performance.

That is simply a reflection of his attributes. Things like day/night and home/away are what I pay attention to because they change attributes.
