Do you use PCI , Do you use guess pitch...

I watch a lot of people/players that stream on twitch. A lot of them use PCI and some use the guess pitch as well. I was wondering what the forum players here use in general ?? I am sure the results will be mixed.

Myself I use button zone hitting, Show camera 16. I never liked PCI never have used it , I never used guess pitch either. IMO using the guess pitch causes bad habits and is kinda of a crutch so to speak. I have trained myself not to use the guess pitch and I think I am a better hitter because of that and can read most the pitches a lot better.

Both. Depends on my mood at the time. I do the same thing pitching, I alternate between pulse and meter. Also keeps the gameplay fresher.

I like analog hitting pitching and now a field with analog also plus i don’t use pci either

I use zone and I dont even know how to use guess pitch, nor do I want to. Nothing against it, but I like it to be more organic. If I want to guess a pitch I just do it myself. I also dont use the PCI or the Strike Zone.

I play zone analog with PCI off and I do guess pitch but only like a few times a game though. Fell like a lot of times if I guess and I am right I get like excited and miss a good pitch or if I guess a fastball up in the zone looking for a pitch I could drive I end up getting a pitch right down the middle and end up taking the pitch.

Zero visual aids....no PCI, no guess pitch, no strike zone, no hot zones, ....100% clean screen.

For pitching I use no visual aids (including the ball marker or vibration)...I aim the pitch location strictly by feel.

Pci indicator wedge and i dont use guess pitch at all not since 11. It made it feel too arcady for my liking.

Haven't used Guess Pitch since the PSP days when it was really hard to read pitches due to the low graphics. It definitely was a crutch at the time and could be still for those who rely upon it. I could definitely see how it would harbor bad habits.

Button zone hitting, no PCI or Guess Pitch, custom camera that is not as fish-eye as the defaults (based off the Wide preset).

Question for you or anyone else that uses analog hitting: is there only one swing type instead of the 3 you have with button hitting (normal, power, contact) ?

Been wanting to maybe transition to analog since it might be easier to do check swings for me. I tend to push the button too hard when I swing (bad habit), but I think I'd have a softer touch with analog.

Show 15 camera, Zone button with PCI. No guess pitch.

Pitcher camera, marker on, and meter pitching.

I get a realistic feel as in my skill helps determine the outcome.

Zone button hitting with no PCI nor Guess Pitch. I hit using the Wide camera angle.

I became a better hitter when I stopped using guess pitch in the Show.
