In analog hitting you choose Contact, or Power before the pitch using the same buttons. At least that's how it was years ago. Assuming it is still the same.

This is still how I play, but without guess pitch. If i want to guess at a fastball away, i move my (invisible) pci there and leave it there. It causes me too take a lot of pitcher's strikes in other locations that would turn into outs. And also i dont need a bonus when i'm right and the pitcher does happen to throw the ball there. If I dont get excited and mis-time it, that ball will be a rocket somewhere, and hopefully not right at someone.

Now that's how the show is meant to be played! No greater challenge than that! I picked the clean screen concept up from you amd Armor & Sword...makes every game feel more realistic amd challenging and when I throw a bad pitch It's ALL MY FAULT. Good stuff!!

I use zone and pci. When the pitch comes I follow the pitch with the PCI and swing or not. It also helps me see balls better. I would never use guess pitch.

This...zone hitting, pci and strike zone off. Purely based on ability to see the ball and swing on time.

Nothing wrong with that. I used to use pci a long time ago, but after a while muscle memory kicked in and now I can "see" the pci without actually seeing it. But it's not a bad idea to use it until your eyes and hands are trained to know how it moves.

The PCI is so huge now, there's really not much reason to have it on.

Haha makes sense. I've been trying to talk my buddy into taking off the PCI and strike zone for a while but he's the same as you. It was a weird feeling at first without it but now it just feels natural. And I also feel like I see pitches much better without the clutter.

No PCI, but I've used guess pitch since its inception, but I think I am gonna stop using it because I am just crushing the ball in my franchise. Had 5 home runs last game. Not all were from guess pitch, but think I'm gonna go without it.

About the pci and moving it like were you guess that is not what I do with guessing location but something I do with like trying to hit fly balls. If for example I have been hitting into a lot of double plays I will put the PCI down a little bit so that I have a better chances of getting under the ball and not hitting a ground ball or if I am just like facing a pitcher who tends to pitch a lot of low pitches.

I don’t use either PCI or guess pitch. I play on HOF difficulty and have had great success hitting and pitching so far this year.
