Broadcast theme style?

Re: Broadcast theme style?
I said this in the little things thread, but I think Theme 1 is modeled after/supposed to be a stand-in for the NBC and AT&T broadcast packages. Theme 2 serves as a ringer for the FOX layout, albeit less so than Theme 1.
I plan on running with that idea and switching on which team is the home team and what their carrier is.

No, all it does is change the aesthetics of the score display.Comment

Re: Broadcast theme style?
Either MLB or 1. 2 has a lot of these annoying little whooshes and other sounds that I don't like. And in 1, I don't like how they use that jersey for the transitions. Many times less is more.Would the lady who left her nine kids at Wrigley Field please pick them up immediately? They are beating the Cubs 4-0 in the 7th inning!Comment

Re: Broadcast theme style?
I have Theme 1 set up with the YES Network music since I'll be playing my Franchise with the Yankees. Theme 2 I have most teams set up with the FOX Sports music for when I play FOX Saturday games and ALCS and World Series (if I get there!). For the Red Sox and Mets, I set Theme 2 with ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball music, since the Yanks play them on SNB this year.
MLB Network I left unchanged.Comment

Oh how did you set that up? I thought I assign broadcast music to a team and not a theme. I’ve assigned the Yankees team the yes network theme between inning etc, but if I choose the mlb network presentation won’t the yes network still play ?

Re: Broadcast theme style?
When you are assigning team audio, press L1 and R1 to change which theme you want to assign the music to. The theme you are currently editing is listed on the top of the page.Comment

I wish there was a "Random" Option. Although multiple settings are a neat touch, remember when NCAA Basketball 10 you could flip between CBS and ESPN?Comment

Re: Broadcast theme style?
You have to do it for every team, one by one. It's a bit of a process, but it'll be worth it for Franchise mode. I've finished about 10 teams already, but lost patience. I'll do the rest right before I play them once I start my Franchise.
