    PCI Glitch?

So I think I’ve noticed a glitch with PCI. On multiple occasions the PCI in the after swing analysis does not show where it actually was when I swung the bat. Say the pitch is down and away and I know I went down and away with the PCI and swung, on the after bat analysis it shows that it was still either in the middle of the plate or even sometimes shows that it’s up In the zone or where ever. I’ve even recorded myself playing went back and watch the video watched my PCI move down or up or wherever in the zone on my swing and then the after about analysis does not show my PCI where it was when I swung. Which results in multiple miss hit balls. Is anyone else noticing this or is this just me?

    Re: PCI Glitch?

You have to remember your timing will impact the rise and fall of the PCI. So for example if you are early the PCI will be higher than your targeted input and reverse if you are late.

This doesn't make sense when comparing to real life? If I start to swing and it's high, any adjustment to get to a low ball is very mininal (i.e. curveballs and I swing for a fastball).

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Look at the travel of a swing, if you are early the bat is on the upswing, when you are late you are at the back end of your swing and the bat is lower.

The idea behind the pci placement is fine I just think its overdone.

I think user's inputs get overstated. I recommended they add a sensitivity slider like you can do for shooters. I think it would help a lot of people.

Hmmm, ok. I guess that would make sense maybe as to why I’m seeing my pci not where I move it. I haven’t played the show in a long time so some of it is obviously user error, but seems like I’m off sometimes when I should t be.

I am not saying there is not a problem but pay attention to your timing and see if the result makes more sense. Just a little more info when trying to see if there is an issue.

I know you say it doesn't make sense but that's how it is, they put it in a year ago or two. If you're early it goes up from where you had it and if late it drops. I don't like it either but it was their way of throwing a slightly more random dice roll on top of 20 other dice rolls. blah.

I decided to turn the feedback off.
