Is 18 worth the upgrade from 17?

I play franchise mode and what I been reading they haven't done much as far as upgrade the mode. Are there any gameplay changes? I just asking to see before go out buying. As of right now I am playing with updated rosters.

The game looks better and in some ways plays better. While they didn't do much to improve Franchise Mode (Also the mode I play) I don't regret the upgrade.

Do you continue your 17 franchise or start a new one with the new rosters? Thanks for the reply.

I'm continuing one while figuring out sliders and stuff for the new rosters. The hitting alone is a big step up. It's much more responsive to me now...

Normally this a quick & easy yes from me.I would have waited for a price drop if I had known then what I know now. That said it's still a great game but other than the Show All Rise cap I got for preordering, I could (&will) continue playing 17 also. If money is no consideration then by all means pick up 18 at your earliest convenience.

I'm going to say yes but qualify that by saying that I didn't play '17 that much. The hitting frustrated me at the start so I reverted back to playing my franchise in '16.

However, the hitting and overall gameplay of '18 is, imo, significantly better than that of any predecessor. And while they didn't add anything flashy to franchise mode this year, the improvements to what they already had are very welcomed additions for franchise lifers such as myself.

I wondered the same thing and read thru the impressions thread, watched YT/twitch videos (I recommend Armour&Sword on Twitch) and made my decision to get the game...glad I did. Read thru the impressions thread, feel free to ask direct questions as to what you want to see that will determine if you should get it.
