This is ridiculous, just doing an import of 2017's franchise to 2018's game will show you that they left a ton of people in the game with audio, face scans, player cards, hardcoded shifts ect. These players played last year, they should be in the default roster.


Cut down on the created player slots if you need space and add some people who are actually signed to MLB organizations right now or who are top free agents available or let us finally import and export anyone we want MLB the Show. If their likenesses are locked that's fine, we should be able to have a team of Mike Trout's face-off against a team of Babe Ruths if we want in a simulation game.

This shouldn't be a big ask.

I tried lifting Pedro from a carry-over last weekend for his stats expecting his name & face to have been changed but was disappointed to see he was locked. At least Salty was added in the first update & can be imported.

Johnny Peralta. Ben Revere. Brett Anderson. Koji Uehara. Franklin Gutierrez. May Latos. Alejandro De Aza. Casey Fien. Emilio Bonafacio. Jeff Locke. And others. Ridiculous that that’s players are not in the base roster. At least make it so we can export them and get them to the base roster ourselves.

More than a few of these guys are currently signed to MLB organizations. Can they import them back on the roster from the disc like they did a few years ago for Miguel Tejada?
