Pitcher/battle analysis more limited then before?
So I have noticed that it seems like there is less info then before that you can see in here. I don't see a way to see what you are with RISP. In the past when you would looked at RISP I think it would also show like 1 for 5, 2 for 10 in those situations I don't see that any more. Also batter type in the past I think it would say like 1 for 10 on LHB and like 2 for 10 vs RHB or something I think that is gone to. Whey did Sony take out some little things like that?Tags: None -

I don't think they have changed in the area. The RISP filter is still there. The batting/slugging average is still accessible with [] (the square) button in the batter analysis. I've never found those averages to be meaningful though due to small sample. -
Re: Pitcher/battle analysis more limited then before?
I don't like how Sony changed some of the smaller things to make it harder to find like I couldn't find pitchers pitch speed for the first few games I played and now this. I see a RISP in the pitcher analysis but I don't see where it says like 1 for 3 or any thing. Now to like find that I have to look at results hits and then results outs and add those together to see what I am. I always like to see how I am doing with RISP to get idea of if I have blowing good chances to score in a game or not. The LHB and RHB thing I understand what you are saying about small sample size but I still like to look at it.Comment

This may well be due to us consumers demanding something new every year, however. Changing the look and feel is the quickest way to give an impression of freshness and the developers often resort to it.
A good UI should actually be fairly static and predictable, and should evolve with an accumulation of years of usage feedback. Games with yearly cycle unfortunately tend to change them for the sake of changing appearances.
Not sticking to what actually works best after all those years of accumulated feedback just show the lack of sense of what true priority should be.Comment
