Camera angles MOM
I’m curious as to why the dynamic fielder cam angles were not added to Manage Only mode and are not available on play now if I am looking to watch a game cpu v cpu. On play now I can only adjust the batting camera angles. It would be nice to have other options than to just be able to look at the broadcast view. My question is whether the options for more fielding camera angles can be added in one of the updates?

Re: Camera angles MOM
Using different camera used to be possible, but for some reason the option has been removed.
I've made such a request in the past whenever opportunities arose, e.g., wish list, a bug report as a wishlist item, etc.
No luck. -

I mean that’s a shame. Esp given that you’ve made the request as a respected member and u invest a lot of time to help make the game play accurately. Honestly I’m now inclined to go back to 17 because at least I can watch with a dynamic follow thru from batting to pitching. There is no Catcher low view to allow the dynamic transition to the low fielder view in 18. I don’t understand why in a mode that you watch games that the variety of angles is being limited!

It really isn't an issue of what *I* say though. It's not that my voice (or whoever are considered more respected in the community, etc., which is entirely subjective) should weigh more. If anything, how things have been gone disprove the "myth" that had been around about how CD members had a lot of influence in how the game shapes up. (My personal experience... almost none.)
I'm much more concerned that a place like OS has lost ground as the place where constructive criticisms help make the game better (in my opinion, it has), The devs now appear to be responding almost purely to the louder, vocal majority who easily shows up in numbers but really isn't going after a simulation baseball game.Comment
