Stadium framerate

Is anyone else having stadium specific framerate issues? Im playing on the pro with 4k hdr balanced settings on the game. It looks beautiful, and through my spring training games in various minor league stadiums i have experienced no hiccups.

However, now that ive moved into franchise, ive noticed that while playing in suntrust park the game is not running as smoothly while i am batting. Its not terrible, but it is noticable after not seeing it at all in the minor league stadium. My friend and i noticed the same thing playing a miller park one day. It was running smooth, and then all of a sudden the framerate started slowing. When we moved the settings to faster, the framerate still did not fix. Is this a known issue? Any suggestions?

yeah, with the pro stadiums , a lot more is going on , which causes the drop. For me, it was old yankee stadium. Haven't tried most of them because of this.

That was my initial thought. There is a lot going on in the backdrop of suntrust. Im hoping that playing on faster will help, but i wish i knew more about why i havent experienced this issue in any minor or spring training stadium. If faster doesnt correct it will really take away from my franchise.

Yes, if youre playing on a 4k hdr tv you can change the settings in the audio/video section of the game. From there you can turn hdr on or off, and adjust the resolution from faster, balanced, and sharper. Ive been playing with balanced, but i did a quick try of faster and didnt notice much of a visual change. So im hoping playing on faster will help resolve some of the framerate issues.

You do not need a 4k tv to adjust faster balanced or sharper.

I noticed a drastic framerate improvement using faster resolution. My next game was in the rain, and it was smooth during cut scenes, batting, and pitching. My few hiccups occured on balanced and mainly while batting during certain innings, or even maybe while the sky was transitioning. Faster seems to be the way to go.

I noticed a drastic framerate improvement using faster resolution. My next game was in the rain, and it was smooth during cut scenes, batting, and pitching. My few hiccups occured on balanced and mainly while batting during certain innings, or even maybe while the sky was transitioning. Faster seems to be the way to go.

How are you set up?
4K tv? HDR? 1080p?
Also What Views are you using? Pitching, Hitting.

Im using a samgsung 4k hdr tv. In the visual and audio sections of the game i have hdr on and the resolution set to faster.

For hitting i use the show 16 camera, and for pitching i use the broadcast camera. Works and looks for me!

I've decided to stick to Balanced after playing around with it. To me, the frame rate on balanced is still light years ahead of the standard PS4. I only see drops during cut scenes occasionally, but it's never as low as 30.
Faster is very nice also, but the graphical improvement of 1440p is very noticeable to me.

I notice the difference also, just cant live with the loss of frame rate. lol
I guess we all see it different, and some care more than others.
