    RTTS pitch selection help

So I'm going for a control/ground ball starting pitcher. I'm trying to decide what pitches to pick for my first 3. I read somewhere that your first pitch has your most velocity, control, and break is that true? Also is it odd for a pitcher to not have a 4 seam fastball. I thought about going 2 seam, cutter, and a changeup for a off-speed pitch but feel like I need to have a 4 seam to be able to rely on if my other pitches aren't working. Anyone have any input?

You don’t necessarily need a 4-Seam FB, plenty of pitchers do not throw one. In terms of getting ground balls, the sinker will get more GBs than a 2-Seam FB because it has more downward movement.

I think your first pitch is the one you can upgrade more often but I’m not sure, I brought over my SP from MLB 17.

I've actually already got a thread going for this -https://forums.operationsports.com/forums/mlb-show/930098-best-pitches-different-archetypes.html
