So you played the very first game or at least the top of the first of the game at the top
Left not the first game time wise? I’m shocked more people aren’t talking about this

Correct, top of the "calendar". I don't think people are talking about it because i believe most of the regulars are just used to doing it this way. Ever since the bug appeared, I have done this in every franchise. Now I just do it out of habit. It takes very little time and for me is no big deal of a work around.

Been hearing about this glitch for years, I've never witnessed it in the probably 20 franchises I've started over the past 3-4 MLB The Show releases. I've never made any attempt to prevent it. Gotta be more to it, maybe 30 team control has to be enabled for it to happen?

Basically I’m opening day let’s say you play your teams game and it’s at the bottom of the calendar or middle or whatever then every home run yiu hit for the entire season the announcer will say it’s his first career homerun. The work around was yiu had to play the very first game at the top of the schedule first. Actually just the first at bat then sim rest of the game. Then that glitch wouldn’t be there. It’s happened to me numerous times because I would forget to play that first at bat

Hmmm I’m in my Rangers franchise and haven’t had that problem. I know they played a day game on opening day so maybe they were the top of the schedule?

Ok, I think I see what you guys are saying. I never play games from the league/daily games calendar. I always use my team's season calendar. Never had the problem because of that, probably.
