This doesn't bother me. I think it is a bit more realistic to not see the meter first. Manager go on their knowledge of their guy and their instincts of the situation. Sometimes they get burned. I kind of like making the choice and finding out if I chose poorly or not. But that's just me.

I do have to agree with you both :-) . IRL players don't have a meter displayed above them, but a little dialogue like we see in RTTS where the manager can ask the pitcher how he feels and then some randomness based on pitcher's feeling.

The dialogue option you suggest is kind of cool. I would like this option.

Anyone see them yet? How often are they? I played in a franchise game where it rained the entire game but never got a delay....I thought for sure I would have.

I've gotten three in franchise so far. 45 min in like 5th inning. 1 hour in like the 3rd. The other was a half an hour early. Like the 2nd or so. The coolest part is the rain varies. Light, heavy, fog, havy, stops, comes back. It's really cool. With the gripe about not knowing your stamina and stuff, I didn't even think of it. The one in the middle innings, I took my guy out. I already had guys up. The other two times I kept my starter in...
