So one question and one statement

Question: Should I start over or roll with it.

Statement: Man I am so tired of this nonsense. Not just The Show, but gaming in general nowadays. I just want to pay my $60 and play a game that I don't have to use work arounds or shelve for a week or two until a patch comes out. I understand bugs happen, not everything will get caught no matter how good QA is. But enough is enough and it is getting old.

I have gone from buying just about everything to probably picking up 4 or 5 games a year and usually never on opening day. The Show is my usually exception but I am beginning to second guess that now to.

The patch didnt change anything so roll with what you got. Just do your best to make sure the world series goes longer than October 25th.

If the playoffs ended early, would setting those GM tasks to "auto" at least have the cpu carry out those transactions?

Yeah the CPU can still do it when set to auto even though the options dont show up.

I'm not sure what you mean by "the options don't show up", so I'll rephrase my question:


If I get to the World Series and however it plays out and ends before October 25, can I then switch my GM tasks to "Auto" so to avoid those three scenarios mentioned in the OP?

It keeps happening to me on my 4th year back to back once I get to 2021 no way to resign anybody or offer arbitration Jesus I hope they fix this I was so happy building my white sox letting the players over all stack up and I get hit with this

Yes, it's necessary.

No, they don't deserve a break.

EDIT: Wanted to elaborate. While I know that the devs work hard at this game, some things just seem inexcusable to me. That said, I understand a lot of it is them being a small team and likely being understaffed/being forced to focus on things that increase revenue (DD and DD. Oh and that game mode, DD) rather than the modes that built the player base in the first place.

So perhaps my sarcasm should be directed more towards the company than the devs themselves.

The bug is there on a franchise that I started last night. Soon as I got to the 4th off season it showed up. So looks like it may be fixed but you have to start over.

Was redoing my franchise last night the same thing happened do you know when will it be fixed ? Or did it get fixed

Sounds like the way to avoid this bug is to make sure the World Series ends on Oct. 26 or later.

Other than that, there is no official fix. If your season ends on Oct. 25, this issue will come up.
