Announcers just announced Colon had his first strike out of his career. (Not his first for the Rangers, no in his career). Perhaps SDS could look in to this.

I've seen different opinions on if the hitting has changed or hasn't changed post patch..... it clearly has IMO. I'm not seeing the same variety of hits. Line drives, tailing live drives, "missile" HR's, etc. Everything has a "lazy" feel to it. Even some of the sharper hit balls don't have the same effect. I also have not seen a replay since the patch that shows the tape measure shot (exit velocity, angle, etc.) Not saying these are not in there....and could be coincidence...but it's clearly affected my hitting. Game still plays great...but I was more impressed with the ball physics on different type hits before patch. Also.... when playing RTTS with a RF or CF, when your manager wants you to shift "deep" and you try to run back to spot you glitch back to your starting spot. The work around is to back up super slowly or take an angle back and over like an "L". This has also happened to me when trying to play closer to the line. Saw some head scratching logic last night to. Opposing team's pitcher got bounced in the 1st inning and the reliever they brought in stayed in the rest of game and was at 122 pitches in my last AB. lol.

This patch also seemed to tone down the fan on my PS4 Pro. It would whirl like crazy in 4K mode, before this update.

Most baseball fans probably wouldn't get confused but the shift in target audience to video gamers in general, now I can see them getting confuzzled lol

That, and the hardcores striking out 20 times a game, due to them counting pitches to see if the numbers match.

Glad it toned down the ps4 pro fan...I thought mine was about to take off on the air strip lol

Does anyone know if the ShowTime bar still visible even though you turn the ShowTime setting to off? Definitely a huge distraction of it blinking every time I bat or field the ball!

I'm playing RTTS and am in AA. When my team hit the allstar break all team standings were erased and the season basically restarted in June/July.

This is how many of the Minor Leagues operate. They have a first half and a second half. The first-half winner is given a postseason playoff spot, standings reset, and then the second half begins.

I suspect quick counts doesn't actually sim a baseball at bat including foul balls. Most likely it is simply a random number generator. I've never used it but you could find out by adding up the pitches and recording them. Does a runner ever advance on a wild pitch or passed ball without you doing anything? If not then it isn't simulating baseball - just a random number generator. The people pushing for it years ago simply wanted a faster way to get through a game.

The reason they don't show the total pitch count could be because they don't want people to gripe about it not being realistic in which case they would have to spend a bunch of developer time trying to turn a gimmick into something realistic.

Is anyone having trouble with trades and the trade slider in franchise? I've tested in both a normal franchise and fantasy draft and even with the slider all the way off plenty of trades are still happening and a lot of them make no sense.

I thought that might be the case but I don't follow Minor League baseball so I wasn't sure.

Yes they did.

I am not sure if this was fixed or not with this patch has I have not played with this patch yet and before I had 2 times were the comparison came up and the first time it was the players age thing and 2nd time it was stats.

It doesn’t seem that they fixed the records with the Play Now with Live Rosters. Or really fixed any of the bugs with that. Has anyone heard if a fix is coming?
