    CPU pitcher, ready & waiting

Due to the fact that the CPU never sets the relief pitcher to ready and waiting does his energy just continue to drain as he warms up into his 4th inning? I do remember in previous years a relief pitcher will come in gassed due to warming up for several innings. Not sure how this keeps getting by the testers?

This has been around for years and really is overlooked. It’s terrible.

Is this actually an issue, or a feature? If the game wants you to manage your bullpen, sitting guys back down ought to be part of the issue.

In the past, I tended to not require warming up relievers in the settings so that I could skip this. I'm not sure that the process of warming guys up and sitting them back down really adds that much to the game.

Agreed, other than the realism factor, it does NOT add anything to the game. I have the setting turned on, just cause I do like the realism factor.

But unless your name is Gabe Kapler, you should know when to have guys warm up and when not to, so the process is a moot point in The Show. In fact, just to speed up my games, I think I'll turn the 'Warm up Relievers' setting off going forward.

Im not referring to when the reliever comes into the game and tosses a few warmp up pitches, im referring to when they throw in the bullpen. You do need to warm them up or they will come in cold and be inaccurate at first. Turning off "warm up relievers" just skips the part when they come in and throw a few. Its just that the CPU never sets them to "ready and waiting" when the meter says "ready". Im afraid this may cause them to tire and reduce their energy.

I believe he's referring to the CPU's management of the bullpen, not his own.

There actually is an option to disable needing to do any bullpen management prior to bringing in a pitcher.

I've used it before as well. They come in just fine when playing that way.
