It seems like a little thing but it honestly takes a lot away from the game to have some generic rando guiding your favorite club. I understand that they may not have the rights to some guys to start the season but they should definitely be patched in. I also noticed some other coaches (Matt Stairs for example) that have been coaches since last year and they still aren't in the game. Pretty inexcusable, honestly.

Wish we could get a feature similar to what Madden had back in the day where retired players would sometimes go on to be coaches. Happens a lot in MLB and would be a great touch to the game.

Can't for the life of me figure out why you can rename fake players but not fake coaches. Probably another one of those ''We're understaffed and overworked'' issues.

in 17 some mangers and coaches were passed in near the end of the year. They were part of a roster update so they weren't available in existing franchise or in any OSFM roster.

They only addd the names though. They didn't update the pictures which led to Ron Washington and Lloyd McClendon being white guys. So I'm not sure what the point of it was.

One year, I can't remember what year but it was the first full year that Showalter managed the Orioles, they added some mangers in an opening day patch. I fired the game up and Dave Trembley was still the O's manager but once I installed the update it had Showalter in.

Super dumb. We should have the same options as we do for the create a player guys, no question. The coaches in game rarely even resemble their real life counterparts.. Wouldn't be hard to make a comparable likeness using the editor.

Not sure if this has happend to anyone yet, but the first night that I was playing Tony LaRussa was available as a manager in my Franchise, with face scan and correct record. I wish I had saved it but he retired the following year. Has that happened in anyone elses franchise?

I remember in the SDS pre-release franchise stream that they were controlling the Phillies...in the off-season, they hired Sparky Anderson, who died several years ago, as their manager. So I am guessing some legend managers are in the game.

Do you have legend players turned on in your franchise? I am wondering if the legend managers are tied in to having legend players turned on as well.
