TS 17 RTTS: Equipment question

Sorry to go all retro by bringing up an ancient, old school game, but this is a question about The Show 17: in RTTS, is it possible to attach equipment to your player without getting the benefit of the boosts to your attributes (i.e. to make the equipment you use purely cosmetic)?

Actually it does as long as that same equipment is in 18. Like u said u won't get any attribute boost but you'll still have that gear on

That's if I import him into 18. But I don't plan on doing that because I dont like the way RTTS is structured in 18. I'm gonna keep playing RTTS in 17 and it looks like I can't attach equipment purely for cosmetic reasons according to factzzz.

Yes. Equip whatever you want to your player, save and then back out and sell it. You will still have the equipment and no boost points. Keep in mind though that if you equip something different you will lose the previous equipment and have to buy and sell it again.
