WHY ISN'T THIS ON XBOX

Man you guys on PS4 have it good for one reason and one reason only, MLB the Show. You have no idea how long it seems like it's been since us Xbox guys have had a quality sim baseball game. I mean MLB 2K was OK. MVP Baseball I think it was called back on the OG Xbox was real good I thought. But now we are left with RBI Baseball which looks like a load of poo, and Super Mega Baseball which I've played, it's not too bad, but it will NEVER look as great or stand on the same level as what the Show seems to offer. I mean I wouldn't consider myself a huge baseball fan, but you realize how much you enjoy playing those games when you have nothing to play at all worth putting any time into. Everyone will say "Just buy a PS4." Unfortunately, that's probably exactly what the developers want. They just want to make the $, which I can understand, it's business. However, it only seems logical to me to make the game playable for Xbox players as well. You are really missing out on a huge fan base by strictly tailoring your game towards PS4 players. So my question is do you guys EVER think the Show will come to Xbox? Not that you guys even care, but it's something I really would love to see happen.

As long as Sony owns it.....not a chance in hell. There's a reason that exclusives are a big deal to each company and consumer base.

I guess when you put it like that it makes sense why they wouldn't. But at the same time, you would think that for the complete lack of competition that would exist in the Xbox market, that they would want to jump all over it, even if they had to work out some deal to make it even worth putting money into it

ya know, there is a chance Sony will be kicking themselves for not doing this 3 years ago,
esp. if RBI gets REALLY good. but maybe its microsoft that doesnt want sony on the Xbox

RBI Baseball has such a long way to go it's driving me nuts. I mean yes they have made progress from previous versions of the game. But the fact that they don't even have commentary, and the gameplay is just whack to begin with, it just tells me that it will be awhile before we get any game that competes with the Show for the best baseball game on the market. And I wish these big companies like Sony and Xbox in an idealistic world would just make their games for all consoles but that obviously removes the point of them even being separate to begin with in some sense. Idk, just being without a baseball game for this long eats at a man haha

Every year, I would take to my soapbox and expound the virtues of why the MLB series was more fun, more playable, and the better choice.

Then I bought a PS3 and popped in The Show... and things were never the same.

Save a little extra cake, get yourself a PS4, and jump on board...

Think about how many less Playstations they would sell if the game came out on various platforms. I'm mainly a pc gamer, and only bought my PS4 for this game. With that said, I would gladly pay double or triple the price if there was a PC version that was obviously better than the PS4 version on ultra settings.

I didnt have PS3 but 2K on XB360 was a good baseball game. I only played season and only dabbled in their RTTS copy but it was a good baseball game. Not on the same level as MLB The Show, but at least xbox had a legit baseball title.

Now, the only way Xbox will get a legit baseball title is through EA. I don' t know if the first party developer rule is still there for MLB games but I thought it's not anymore. I wish EA would make MVP again. Their Ultimate team would blow DD out of the water.
