After 1.06 it feels like its a little slow again. I am early on everything. Does anyone else feel like it was messed with again or is this all in my head?

I've been using both pitch speed sliders on 10, and played 2 games today, and I swear that it's slower... it might not be, but it sure seems like it.

Yeah man it might be in my head. But it felt significantly slower tonight.

it's annoying the crap out of me if they have I wish they would just leave it alone, because it;s hard to get a fair balance of sliders with it if they keep changing it around

Either it's a bit slower, or I'm just getting used to it... honestly I'm not sure.

Yeah I don't want to jump to conclusions. Maybe I am just getting used to it as well. That's why I wanted to get others oppinions. But it felt significantly slower tonight. I am old and my reflexes aren't what they used to be so when it feels slow to me it leads me to believe that maybe it did get retuned. I really hope I'm wrong because I am really getting sick of constantly testing sliders instead of just playing and having fun

I don’t think it’s slower , I still stuck out which I want before the speed increase . Really hope they don’t change it to be slower

My experience is that it’s the same as it was prior to 1.06.

Yep I'm early on everything as well. So far this is the worse I've hit during game launch. It just hasn't felt right yet. Only April though so no real concerns here

This is the problem with them not being open about what they change in patches, it leaves you second guessing everything. You have a few bad games after a new patch and you start worrying that they've changed something, then once that is in your mind it's hard to shake it.

As someone that has long since avoided touching sliders in any sports game, I obviously take the opposite view. I appreciate them taking time to fix and dial in the gameplay. If you want your own special difficulty, fine tuned to your own needs, then this will always be a problem.

Sliders is the one feature I used to demand and require more than any other in sports games. I have since come to regret ever wasting time on them. All they do is ruin my gameplay experience. They delay starting a season. I spend more time testing than playing. And patches or not, the job of adjusting sliders is never done.

What finally broke my addiction to sliders was the realization that it was making me a worse player of all sports games. I was just tweaking the sliders to get the results I wanted, but never trying to get better myself. Just like paining by numbers. it suddenly made all the work feel shallow and soulless.

I have loved really struggling at the plate early on, and the answer was to really work on what I was doing wrong and how too improve, instead of upping my contact sliders. The uptick in offense I've seen recently actually feels good and not cheap.

I find that pitches that hit their mark and paint the corners still have life to them but it’s those meatballs that are much easier to pick up than on previous versions of The Show. I like it as I really feel I punish those bad pitches now.

Yeah false alarm? I cranked up the speed slider a notch and it was challenging again. I must have gotten used to the speed on my slider settings. Once I cranked it up a notch I was definitely getting beat by fastballs again. Good news at least I know I am getting better. Finally progressed to all star hitting last night and had to crank up pitch speed slider. Overall I have to say after a couple of weeks in the game is playing really good this year.

However, my biggest fear after visiting the shownation.com last night (you know the website the dev's actually pay attention to) I saw nothing but complaints on the game and the hitting engine from people who admittedly were majority wise DD players. I feel like people don't keep at it and learn to adjust and are to quick to complain. I am scared this game is going to get patched into oblivion just like other sports games this year to accommodate this portion of the fan base.
