Save problem.
So I just won a game 14-4. I put Eddie Butler into pitch in the 7th when the game was 12-3. He pitched the last three innings... and was credited with a save. What the heck? Is this a one-time, odd glitch or is this a recurring issue that some of you guys have seen?Tags: None -

Re: Save problem.
That’s correct, he should get a save. If you pitch the last three innings+ of a game you get credited with a save -

Not a bug...it's a condition for being credited with a saveAttached FilesI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Save problem.
Its a glitch in the rulebook IMOlike throwing a perfect game for 4 & two thirds, leave with an injury up 9-0,
your replacement pitches the next 4 & one thirds, gives up 8 runs and gets the dubya.OSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

I'm pretty sure in that case the scorer can actually give the win to the starter.Comment
