Hey guys, last week there was a thread about why the new managers are not in MLB The Show 18. Guys like Alex Cora, Aaron Boone, etc. Most of the questions were answered, but one still remains for me, which is why I made this thread. The answer to the main question was that eventually SDS will patch these managers into the game, and this answer was confirmed by multiple people in the community.
My remaining question is this... When SDS does patch them into the game will you have to restart your franchise in order for the update to take effect? In other words if I am in the month of July in franchise, and SDS comes out with the patch, is Alex Cora all of the sudden going to pop up in my “Coaches Contract” screen and show up in the dugout during games within my franchise? Or will I have to start all over again from scratch?
Any help with this question would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
