Is there a way around this glitch?

Maybe it was the latest patch, or maybe I didn't notice, but this game has been doing some weird, buggy stuff! I was playing a game at Colorado:

    1) DJ LeMahieu ran to 1st from the on-deck circle.
    2) After using Albert Almora Jr. as a pinch hitter and subbing him out for Mike Montgomery, Almora was suddenly available again in the 9th.
    3) In the bottom of the 9th, the Rockies had 2 men on base, when on a base hit up the middle, one of them simply disappears. Gone. No out. No run. Just gone. Like it never happened.

    Ok, on to Cleveland.

    1) Jose Ramirez starts. He has a few at-bats, and I really don't have much trouble against him. But imagine my surprise when he somehow or another comes up as a pinch hitter in the bottom of the 8th!

    2) My starting pitcher was also in the bullpen available to be used

Is there a setting I need to mess with, or has this happened to anyone else? This is happening to me in franchise, and these bugs have happened now two games in a row.
Would the lady who left her nine kids at Wrigley Field please pick them up immediately? They are beating the Cubs 4-0 in the 7th inning!

#1 legitimately made me laugh. Was he safe? Those don't sound like something that settings can fix. They sound like bugs that should be reported.

I haven't had any of those yet, but I have ran into an issue with whoever is on first walking to home plate and just standing there. Then when the ball is put in play they run off screen. It's hilarious.

Actually, he ran to 2nd, my mistake. And I got the guy at 1st for the 3rd out of the inning.
I wish I could find a workaround, this game is fun otherwise.

I had the catcher walk forwards a few feet and squat in front of home plate, and I had a first baseman run into the dugout instead of making the play at first with auto fielding on.

You know what? I think it has something to do with "quick manage". I just played a game without using it, and no issues whatsoever.

            lol that is awesome
it's the equivalent to a quarterback lining up behind a guard or even tackle lol

The following cut-scene was the ump cleaning off home plate, right?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I don't remember, but I couldn't throw the next pitch for a handful of seconds until the glitch fixed itself.

Re: Is there a way around this glitch?

Today I went to Play Now with the current Jays/Rangers match up. My line up for the Jays looked something like this by default:

                    Diaz LF
                    Travis 3B
                    Donaldson 1B
                    Smoak DH
                    Martin SS
                    Ngoepe 2B
                    Pillar CF
                    Grichuk RF
                    Solarte C

... Ok. Weird, but fixable. Then I take a look at the Rangers... just as bad, except that instead of a DH, they have CF listed twice. Whoever I sub into that spot gets added to the line up twice.

At this point, I just want to know what the game is going to do, so I start the game with Shin Soo Choo batting lead-off and 9th. When he comes up in the 9 spot, it shows him walking up, then cuts to my pitching cam as usual, except no Choo or HUD. I hit X, Choo appears and suddenly it's a normal looking AB. Now, wanting to see how the game handles this, I walk him intentionally to bring up the leadoff batter, which again should be Choo. I see the cutscene of my manager calling for the walk, but the game just holds here. All I can do is pause and quit.

So yeah, This game has some jank for sure.
