There has to be a way to turn off DD stuff

I don't want any of it on my game! It ruins the immersion of my franchise and is just thrown in my face around the front end at every button press.

I don't care about it and, quite frankly, I despise the mode. It slows down the menus when trying to complete a game and get back to the main menu, and I do not wish to disconnect my game from the internet. I like playing against my friends online with real teams.

I hate all ultimate team modes and fantasy sports, in general. Please let us disable this crap in the future! For a company that prides itself on customization and toggles this is just blatant, in-your-face pandering to get you to try this mode. Whether or not you have to sink any real money into it is beside the point. It is deceptive and manipulative towards a younger audience and at the very least it should be something that is capable of disabling.

There isn't aside from, as you mentioned you didn't want to do, disconnecting from the internet. It's actually really quick and easy to do as it's just un-checking a box in the PS4's network options menu, but it's your prerogative whether to use it or not. But it is the only way to not see any trace of DD.

I don't even notice it anymore. I've fired up 18 so much, I know just what I'm looking for and where to find it. I swear, I could even play this game if my screen went out lol

And therein resides the issue. There is no way to get away from it and that is by design. And that makes you ask why is it such a concern for the game to have you constantly see DD? And the answer is $$$.

I would love to have multiple game modes that are just sold separately in the future. $45 each and $20 to add a second mode or $90 for everything. Because as it stands with DD milking all of the resources now I just can’t justify spending $60 each year on the “complete” product.

I’m not a fan of DD either but I really don’t see the big deal here.

So it takes me what, an extra 30 seconds to go from end of game back to the franchise menu?

I just press x and continue doing what it is I was doing.
