Inside the park HR?
Has any one had a inside the park HR yet this year? Last game I played I got one. I hit a ball towards center field with Andrew Mccutchen where CPU tried to dive to make the catch and missed. At first I thought I might only be able to get a triple out of it but by the time the CPU fielder got the ball I knew I had a good shoot at getting a inside the park HR.Tags: None -
Re: Inside the park HR?
I got one tonight in my franchise with Javier Baez. I hit a bloop to center and Ender Inciarte dove for it and missed, ball rolled all the way to the wall. By the time they got to it I was headed to third and rounding for home.“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Re: Inside the park HR?
My first HR this year was actually an inside-the-parker with Jose Abreu. Not the way you'd expect a player like him to hit their first one of the year but I'll take itPhil 3:14

Especially with his below average speed. Was it a gapper or bounce around off the wall away from OF'ers? I don't mind gappers but when my outfield doesn't play the wall right ... my blood boils lolOSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

Re: Inside the park HR?
I had a walk-off inside the parker with Albies a couple weeks ago. Sounds similar to how yours went.

Re: Inside the park HR?
I absolutely hate how the CPU OFers dive like that for balls.
I too had a game winning "walk off" just like this one.
Mine was with the bases loaded and down 3 runs.
No way in real life does a ML outfielder take that chance with the game on the line.

Re: Inside the park HR?
I haven't hit one myself, but I seem to give one up about every five games or so. With certain balls hit into the deep corner of the outfield, my fielders act like they have no idea what they're doing. They don't want to pick up the ball, and then after they do, they refuse to throw it to the infield. I'll be mashing the button and nothing happens. By then what should have been no more than a triple, and maybe even a double, has become a inside the park homer.Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.Comment

Re: Inside the park HR?
I've been doing missions for doubles and offensive stats so I've been playing there and I usually get 2 a game at the polo grounds

Re: Inside the park HR?
Yep. I got one with Eric Hosmer at Petco Park off a misplay where the fielder fell down. Got another with Austin Jackson at AT&T Park in triples alley.Comment
