Question about throwing and dynamic pitching

Does throwing and pitching under dynamic button pitching depend on the release point like in NBA 2K? Or is it just a press of a button for accuracy and holding it down is for power?

The game doesn't explain this much.

Dynamic isn't a pitching mode, it's a difficulty setting. Meter, Pulse, and Analog are the three pitching modes - which one are you talking about? I'm assuming meter or pulse since both those use a button press while analog uses the stick.

Edit: forgot classic pitching! Armor would kill me. [emoji38]

Are you possibly referring to Classic pitching?

Just to add, with classic pitching a simple button press has less velocity, the more accuracy, less brake and less of a strain on stamina, where as the longer you hold the button the more velocity, the less accuracy, the more brake and the more strain on stamina.

Thanks guys! I meant Classic Pitching, not dynamic. Sorry.

Does this apply to throwing on defense as well?
