I'm using the Cubs and White Sox because I've grown up in Chicago and always liked both (The cubs more)

If they play each other I only root for the Cubs but I'd much rather see a Chicago team win than a team from somewhere other than Illinois.

I use the Rays because:

1) I dont want to use my Astros since they are so good now, and;

2) I love Kevin Kiermaier and I knew they needed a full blown reset.

Despite their horrendous offense, I survived the first season only making minor moves (like trading for Austin Barnes and Tommy La Stella, plus taking a flyer on Jon Singleton).

Now I let all of the dead weight walk and I'm in full rebuild mode. I cant imagine a better way to play a franchise.

I wish I could play with the Rays. They're my favorite AL team and it would be fun to rebuild them, but I hate that stadium. Same with the A's, stadium is such a turn off that I can't have any fun playing with a cool team. That's where The Show needs a create-a-stadium like Madden has in their franchise mode. One of the best things about Madden is being able to build a new stadium, and sure it's generic looking, but it's still a cool feature.

In my "GM and quick manage" chise, Tigers because they're horrible and have a great pitching farm system.

Playing a franchise playing as both the Indians and the Rockies.

Indians are my favorite team, and Rockies are my second favorite team is why.

Ha, it's the opposite for me. Rockies are my favorite team overall, and I've semi-adopted the Indians as my favorite AL team. Also went with the Indians since they're a home state team and I'd rather watch them over the Tigers or Reds on TV.

Texas Rangers because when I began collecting baseball cards as a kid in Junior High I got an '87 Fleer Ruben Sierra rookie card and that was the first card I got that was actually worth something at the time about $12. So he became my favorite player and the Rangers became my favorite team.

Sucks that most cards from that era of the late 80's to early 90's arent' worth much these days. That was the boom of card collecting and the market got flooded with waaaay too many cards.

I'll always do a Reds one because they are my hometown team and now that my adopted hometown team Tigers are bad I'll do one with them too. I'm currently in a Marlins carryover. As you can tell, I'm a big fan of rebuilding teams to put my own mark on it. It's what I do.

Just got the game a few days ago so I had to start one with my hometown and favorite team the Tigers. Plus I like the challenge of trying to rebuild them, here goes nothing!

Question for you guys as I need some knowledge from veterans of this game.

I'm deciding between 2 teams for franchise: Orioles and White Sox.

The White Sox have just a crazy number of prospects, but the Orioles have the MLB talent and Machado is fun to play with.

I am going to be playing every single game of the 162 game season. Since I don't know how potential and progression works in this game, would it even be worth it for me to be the White Sox? Would the prospects even develop for me? Playing all 162 games I might get through 2 seasons.

I’d say you wouldn’t be able to make them a contender in that short of a time as it will prob take most of them a few years to develop into stars. What you could do is sim 1-2 years and then start playing every game in the 2019 or 2020 season with more developed prospects.

Restart and do both. Indians in AL and Braves in NL. Best of both worlds

Phillies because they are my favorite team.

I'm also loving all their young good player prospects. Almost the whole team is young with A or B potential.
