I don't use 'em. For pitching.

I have the strikezone off and don't want the help in painting corners.
But I do use 'em offensively because it kinda makes it just a bit more difficult to focus on the pitcher in clutch situations.




Other than when a runner gets on third, what all else triggers it?




I actually hate that I have to remember to switch 'em off and on between innings. Hopefully they can separate 'em into Pitching and Hitting at some point in the future. I also wish there were 2 on/offs for pitching. 1 for the k-zone, the other for clutch pitching situations. I'd leave the latter ON.

They also need to seperate them for Classic pitching. If you turn vibration off to not get help with locating, you no longer get the vibrate for max effort pitches.

Do you really need it though? You can just keep holding the button down. Unless there is a some type of punishment for it or something.

I don't want it on to know that I held it long enough, but rather to know I didn't quite hold it to max effort. Without the vibration you can't be sure whether you did or not. And the subtleties to timing that in Classic is big .

I have gone 100% clear screen on classic pitching, so I know what the vibrations mean in regards to pitching. But I have no idea what it really tells me regarding hitting. I don't need a vibrating controller to tell me I am in a critical hitting situation.

Yeah didnt even think of that. Decided to turn off vibrations off for the first time this year. Definitely feel like my guys are getting tired quicker than they should be.

I was actually thinking last night about turning vibration off for hitting, because its so loud.

I guess high fastball on every pitch, and compared to previous versions of the game, the controller will absolutely GO NUTS sometimes when that pitch is coming. Its far too distracting.

I like it for the pitching though, and don't want to lose it on that end.

The last few weeks, while I've been playing The Show almost exclusively, my controllers do seem to be draining quicker than they usually do.

I turn off vibration for that exact reason. Plus, I've never been a big fan of it in games to begin with.

My controller doesn't stay charged as long as it used to. I'm just wondering if that's because of the age of the controller? I got my system in 2015 and I'm still on the original controller.

Helpful tip for those experiencing this...

You may have already done thus, but if not, turn down the brightness of your Controller Light Bar. It can work wonders for extending battery life.
